ifilm English to air ‘The Billionaire’

Iranian series ‘The Billionaire’ has been scheduled to be on the channel’s playlist, ifilm English website has reported.

The series, produced by Ramin Abbasizadeh and directed by Alireza Amini, will start on April 5, 2019.

‘The Billionaire’ depicts a companionship that takes place between Saeed and Bahador. Saeed is the wealthy owner of a construction company, but it is his wife who indirectly runs everything and makes the final decisions.

For the first time, Saeed wants to take matters into his own hands by hiring a young talented guy named Bahador, whose father turns out to be Saeed's long-lost friend. Tensions grow between the two families as Bahador begins to widen his powers at the company.

Among the cast list are Mohammad-Reza Sharifinia, Majid Mozaffari, Ramin Rastad, Atefeh Razavi, Alireza Kamali-Nejad, Nima Shahrokh-Shahi, Sahar Zakaria, Fariba Naderi, Narges Mohammadi, Zahir Yari and Saeed Pirdoust.

‘The Billionaire’, made in 2012, is scheduled to replace the series ‘No.1 Tehran’, to be broadcast daily at 20:00 GMT.

ifilm English will also repeat each episode of the series the following day at 01:00, 07:00 and 12:00. The series comes in 19 segments.
